Steps to Check RBI Assistant Prelims Result 2026

Follow the steps below to check your result and download the list of shortlisted candidates from the official RBI website:

1. Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) at https://www.rbi.org.in/.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click on the “Opportunities@RBI” link.
3. On the new page, click on the “Current Vacancies” tab.
4. Look for the “Results” link and click on it.
5. Find and click on the link: “Result of online Preliminary Examination for Recruitment for the Post of Assistant – Panel Year 2025”.
6. A PDF file will open containing the Roll Numbers of candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination.
7. Press Ctrl + F (Find) and enter your Roll Number to search for it in the list.
8. If your Roll Number appears, you have qualified for the Main Examination.

Important Details about the Main Examination

The result document also provides crucial information regarding the next stage of the recruitment process:

1. Date of Main Exam: The online Main Examination will be conducted on June 07, 2026 (Sunday) .
2. Admit Cards: Separate call letters (Admit Cards) for the Main Examination will need to be downloaded from the RBI website. The time and venue for the exam will be mentioned on these call letters.
3. Instructions for Candidates: A link for downloading call letters, an information handout, and special instructions for candidates with physical limitations (including speed, scribe services, and compensatory time) will be made available shortly on the RBI website.

Note for Candidates:

• Individual marksheets and category-wise/region-wise cut-offs for the Preliminary Exam will be displayed interactively on the RBI website soon.
• RTI queries regarding the number of candidates shortlisted/appeared will be entertained only after the completion of the entire selection process (including final results).
• The conduct of the recruitment has been outsourced to an external exam body, which does not provide question papers to the client organization. Therefore, RBI will not be able to provide the question paper under RTI.
• The Bank reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors in the result.
