The selection process involves a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and medical exam.

How to apply for RRB Group D recruitment 2026

1. Visit the official website rrbapply.gov.in or your regional RRB website.
2. Click on the “CEN 09/2025 Group D Level-1” or “Apply Online” link.
3. Complete New Registration (if not already registered) using your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and Aadhaar details (or create/login to your account).
4. Login with your credentials, fill the application form with personal, educational, and post preference details.
5. Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and required documents in the specified format.
6. Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form. Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

General / OBC / EWS Candidates: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- Refunded After Appear CBT Exam)
SC / ST / PH / All Female Candidates: Rs. 250/- (Rs. 250/- Refunded After Appear CBT Exam)
Payment Mode: Pay the Exam Fee Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI Fee Only.

Age Limit for RRB Group D

RRB Group D Exam pattern

The Question paper for Single Stage CBT will be of 90 minutes duration for 100 questions and 120 minutes for PwBD candidates who are availing the Scribe facility.
There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
The question papers shall be of objective multiple choice type with four options. Only one of these four options will be the correct answer. Language of Question Paper is English & Hindi.

Educational Qualification: 10th Pass (High School) OR ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) by NCVT

Male: Lift & Carry 35 kg for 100m in 2 min + 1000m run in 4 min 15 sec (one chance)
Female: Lift & Carry 20 kg for 100m in 2 min + 1000m run in 5 min 40 sec (one chance)
