- Click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-SPECIALIST OFFICERS (CRP SPL-XVI)”.

IBPS SO Selection Process 2026
The IBPS SO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process includes three stages: Online Preliminary Examination, Online Main Examination and a Common Interview. Candidates must clear all three stages to be finally selected for a Specialist Officer post.
- Stage 1: Online Preliminary Examination – Candidates are tested on English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Professional Knowledge (or General Awareness in place of Quantitative Aptitude for Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari posts). Candidates must clear the cut-off in each test to be shortlisted.
- Stage 2: Online Main Examination – Includes English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude/General Awareness, Professional Knowledge (Objective), and a Descriptive Paper (for certain posts). Merit listing is based on Professional Knowledge scores.
- Stage 3: Common Interview – Conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank, carrying 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates). The Main Examination and Interview carry a weightage of 80:20 respectively.
