Educational Qualification

ITI Electrician and Wireman candidates in Punjab can apply for this post. The qualification is simple. You need three things:

• 10th pass (Matriculation or equivalent)
• ITI in Electrician Trade or ITI in Wireman Trade
• ITI certificate must be from NCVT or SCVT
• Punjabi language passed at Matriculation level or equivalent

All qualifications must be completed by the last date of online application, i.e. 6 May 2026.

Age Limit

Age is calculated as on 01 January 2026.

PSPCL ALM Salary 2026

During the 3-year probation period, you will get only the basic salary of Rs. 19,990 per month. No extra allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA) or annual increment will be added during this time. You will get travel allowance and medical reimbursement as per PSPCL rules.

PSPCL ALM Exam Pattern 2026

The online computer-based test has two parts. Candidates must qualify Part I to be considered for Part II merit.

Part I — Punjabi Language (Qualifying)

If you score less than 25 marks in Part I, your Part II marks will not be counted at all. You will not make it to the merit list.

Part II — Main Exam

Total exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes). Part II is bilingual (English/Punjabi) except Punjabi language questions which are in Punjabi only. There is no negative marking. Each correct answer carries 1 mark.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in Part II

If the exam happens in more than one shift, PSPCL will adjust the marks to make them fair across all shifts. This is called normalization. Your final rank will be based on Part II marks only.
