Eligibility Criteria for PSPCL JE Electrical 2026
Educational Qualification
The PSPCL JE Electrical 2026 qualification requires one of the following from a State/Central Government recognised institute:
- Full-time Regular 3/4-year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks. OR
- B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 50% marks. OR
- AMIE in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 50% marks from Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta.
Qualification must be completed on or before 10 May 2026.
Punjabi Language
Candidates must have passed Punjabi at Matriculation level or its equivalent by 10 May 2026.

PSPCL JE Electrical Selection Process 2026
The PSPCL JE Electrical selection process has two stages:
- online computer-based test

PSPCL JE Electrical Exam Pattern 2026
The exam has 100 objective-type MCQ questions for 100 marks in 2 hours. Negative marking of 0.25 marks applies for each wrong answer.

Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for General category, 35% for all reserved categories (SC/BC/EWS/XSM/SP/PWD/FF). These are the minimum passing marks. Final PSPCL JE Electrical cut off marks will depend on difficulty level and total candidates who appear. If the exam is held in multiple shifts, normalization will be applied.
After the online test, shortlisted candidates are called for document checking. Original certificates for qualification, age, reservation, and Punjabi must be produced along with one set of self-attested photocopies.

Eligible candidates can fill the PSPCL JE Electrical 2026 application form online at pspcl.in by following these steps:
- Visit pspcl.in and click on the Recruitment tab.
- Click on the CRA 316/26 Junior Engineer/Electrical link.
- Click New Registration and fill in your name, date of birth, fathers name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Verify OTP on your registered email and mobile.
- Fill the application form and upload photo (20–50 KB, JPG) and signature (10–20 KB, JPG).
- Click Save and Preview, confirm all details, then click Submit.
- Pay the application fee via SBI Payment Gateway and save the payment receipt.
- Log in again, verify fee status shows Paid, then download and save the final application form.
